Mettere radici nell'andare è uno dei progetti vincitori del bando FuoriRotta per viaggi non convenzionali indetto da Simone Falso, Matteo Calore e Andrea Segre.
"FuoriRotta vuole suggerire la necessità di cambiare i destini di viaggiatori impossibili e di viaggiatori preconfezionati. Il mondo sembra diviso in queste due categorie: da una parte coloro a cui è negato il diritto al viaggio, dall’altro chi pur godendone non ne vive l’esperienza di conoscenza ma si affida a organizzazioni commerciali e omologanti che proteggono ma nello stesso tempo limitano l’esperienza stessa.
Tra i viaggiatori impossibili vi sono tanto i migranti, alcuni di loro in fuga, bloccati dalle fortezze e dai muri di protezione dei Paesi più ricchi quanto i cittadini all’interno delle fortezze stesse schiacciati dalla crisi e dalle sue conseguenze. Tra i viaggiatori preconfezionati c’è chi lo fa per sicurezza e comodità, chi per poter risparmiare.
Andare FuoriRotta significa non accettare le regole che negano il viaggio, cercare strade per farlo oltre la crisi e viverlo nella sua essenza di togliere protezioni alla conoscenza: significa viaggiare potendo scegliere la propria direzione".

"FuoriRotta suggests the necessity of changing the destiny of impossible travellers and prepackaged travellers. The world seems divided in two different categories: the people who is denied
the right to travel and the people that, even having freedom of movement, do not live the experience but use commercial and homogenizing organizations that on the one hand protect them but
on the other hand restrict the experience itself.
The impossible travellers are for example the migrants, some of them running away from their country, that are blocked from the fortress and the protection wall of the richer countries but even the citizen of the fortress exhausted by the crisis and its consequences. Choosing to be a prepackaged traveller instead, derives from requiring of safeness and comfort or from money issues.
Go out of the beat path means do not accept the rules that deny the right of travel, look for way to do it despite the crisis and live it in its essence of removing protection to the knowledge: it means travel choosing your own direction".
